Terms of Service

OpenRTI lets anyone examine, compare, share and cite Reflectance Transformation Imaging (RTI) data of cultural heritage objects in the browser. Members can sign in to manage their own records; uploading from the browser is being introduced step by step. By using the site or creating an account you agree to these terms.

OpenRTI, kültürel miras eserlerinin RTI (Reflectance Transformation Imaging) verilerini herkesin tarayıcıda incelemesine, karşılaştırmasına, paylaşmasına ve kaynak göstermesine olanak tanır. Üyeler kendi kayıtlarını yönetmek için giriş yapabilir; tarayıcıdan yükleme adım adım devreye alınmaktadır. Siteyi kullanarak ya da hesap oluşturarak bu koşulları kabul etmiş olursunuz.

• An account is for one person. Sign in with ORCID, Google or a link sent to your email; there are no passwords.
• Keep access to your email and sign-in accounts secure; you are responsible for activity in your OpenRTI account.
• We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or endangers the service or other users.

• Bir hesap bir kişi içindir. ORCID, Google ya da e-postanıza gönderilen bir bağlantıyla giriş yapılır; şifre yoktur.
• E-postanıza ve giriş hesaplarınıza erişimi güvende tutun; OpenRTI hesabınızdaki etkinlikten siz sorumlusunuz.

• You keep all rights to what you upload. You confirm that you have the right to upload it and to publish it under the licence you choose.
• You choose the licence of each record. OpenRTI never assigns a licence automatically.
• You allow OpenRTI to store, process (for example to create viewing tiles), display and distribute your records as needed to run the service, within the licence and visibility you choose.
• You are responsible for any permission needed to document and publish an object, for example from the museum, collection or excavation authority.
• Descriptive information must be honest: do not enter an author, date, institution, DOI or licence that the source does not support.

Published versions do not change, so that citations stay valid. Corrections are published as a new version. You can make a record private before publishing; removal of a published record is reviewed case by case.

• Do not upload unlawful content or content that infringes the rights of others.
• Do not try to break the security of the service, access other accounts, or disrupt the service (for example with automated requests at a harmful rate).
• Do not upload malware or files disguised as RTI data.

• Yasadışı ya da başkalarının haklarını ihlal eden içerik yüklemeyin.
• Hizmetin güvenliğini aşmaya, başka hesaplara erişmeye ya da hizmeti aksatmaya (örneğin zararlı hızda otomatik isteklerle) çalışmayın.
• Zararlı yazılım ya da RTI verisi gibi görünen dosyalar yüklemeyin.

Site texts are licensed under CC BY 4.0 and the software under the MIT licence. Artifact data is licensed per record, as shown on each record.

RTI is not a measured three-dimensional model. Enhanced views support interpretation and are not raw data. The service is provided as is, without warranty; to the extent permitted by law, OpenRTI is not liable for indirect damages arising from its use or from records published by users.
